She completed her medical and residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School and is eligible for board certification in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She received her Master of Science degree in reproductive biology from the National University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a PhD in biomedical sciences from the joint program between Old Dominion University and Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Bocca is a fellow of the American
College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American
Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Assisted Reproductive
Technology, Society for the Study of Reproduction, and American Medical
Association. She earned a certification of High Complexity Laboratory
Director from the American Board of Bioanalysis, as well as numerous
teaching awards and honors throughout her medical training. She is a skillful surgeon with credentialing
in robotic endoscopic surgery. Her areas of research interests include
ovarian physiology, implantation, and embryology. |
